As reported by REVOLT, Epps is currently working as a co-producer on Netflix’s upcoming thriller Forty Acres alongside JAY-Z and Dana Honor. The film is an adaptation of Dwayne Alexander Smith’s novel of the same name. Smith will also serve as executive producer on the movie.
Forty Acres follows the story of a Civil Rights attorney who is fighting for his life after being invited to join an elite Black organization with a “mind-blowing” secret. The film has been described as a cross between Jordan Peele’s Get Out and Tom Cruise’s 1993 movie, The Firm.
