Apryl Jones and Lil Fizz might be starting off 2020 as single people.
Apryl recently sat down on “Out Loud with Claudia Jordan” and seemingly addressed the recent breakup rumors between her and Fizz.
She said, “You know Dreux is a great man and his focus is on Kam, my focus is on my children and we are where we are, and I kinda wanna leave it there.”
When asked about being blamed for breaking up B2K, Apryl said, “That’s a judgement, and that’s people who don’t know and it’s okay. I think those people have the right to have those opinions about what they think about me. But the truth is the truth and that isn’t the case. The group was broken up before I came into the picture.”
News of a breakup came after reports claimed that Apryl was cheating on Fizz. Pictures surfaced of Apryl with a man in the club, but fans didn’t know if the pictures were recent or old. The two unfollowed each other on Instagram and Fizz began deleting some of the pictures that he had with Apryl off his Instagram page.
Apryl’s ex-boyfriend Omarion has remained unbothered through it all after she went public with his former B2K band mate.
“I don’t feel no ways, I don’t feel any way about it,” Omarion said during an interview with VladTV. “I think that if they’re happy, then they should be happy. I think they should change the narrative, though.”
He continued, “She’s still the mother of my children. When something affects her, it affects my kids, and that affects me. But what she does is, you know, live your life! I think people should do whatever makes them happy. I think they should change the narrative.”
Shortly after that interview, Omarion announced a 2020 Millennium Tour, without B2K, on Fizz’s birthday. Many fans blamed Apryl and Fizz for fumbling the group’s bag.
