After making an initial response on his Power 106 show, Nick Cannon has now dropped a full-length diss track aimed at Eminem called “The Invitation,” featuring Suge Knight and battle rappers Hitman Holla, Charlie Clips and Prince Eazy.
In the Hitmaka-produced single, Cannon calls out Em and challenges him to appear on his TV show, “Wild ‘N Out,” for a rap battle.
“Eminem— you are cordially invited by the Black Squad,” the single’s cover art reads.
“The Invitation” is led by a phone call from the currently incarcerated Suge Knight.
“You know, I don’t never do no talkin’, but Nick’s family. This is your invitation to prove to everybody else what you’re about,” Knight says. “Eminem’s a bi**h.”
Cannon starts in on the first verse, retaliating against Em’s comments.
“Call Kim, somebody get Hailie/ And that other kid you raisin’ that ain’t even your baby/ Took a page out of Drake book, this might get a Grammy/ We going back to back ‘til you respond on the family/ My baby-mama killed you off a decade ago/ You’re still cryin’ about it, bi**h, now who really the hoe?”
Eminem initially brought up Cannon on Fat Joe’s song “Lord Above.”
“Word to the Terror Squad, Joe, this is all puns aside though/ I know me and Mariah didn’t end on a high note/ But that other dude’s whipped, that pu**y got him neutered/ Tried to tell him this chick’s a nut job before he got his jewels clipped/ Almost got my caboose kicked, fool, quit, you not gon’ do sh*t/ I let her chop my balls off, too ‘fore I lost to you, Nick,” Em rapped.
Cannon acknowledged the verse on his Power 106 morning show, saying it wasn’t “worthy of a response.”
“Em has been doing this forever,” he said on-air. “He should change his name from Eminem to Percocet. What’s the pills that old people take? We gonna call him Cialis. Bring your walker, get out your wheelchair, Eminem, and pop whatever you pop.”
“Should I respond back? It’s not worthy of a response,” Cannon continued. “Then I gotta get in my time machine and put my jiggalo jersey on.”
Eminem has not yet responded to Cannon’s song, “The Invitation.” Listen to the track below.
