Iyanna “Yaya” Mayweather, daughter of boxing legend Floyd “Money” Mayweather and the subject of NBA YoungBoy’s latest single, has now responded to the rapper’s song, “Dirty Iyanna.” Seemingly a diss track aimed at Iyanna, who was previously in a relationship with YoungBoy, the song flips Michael Jackson’s hit song, “Dirty Diana,” to dish about the couple’s past relationship.
“Might have to gas all my cars/Don’t come out after dark/I see she won’t leave me alone/She sliced the tires on my car,” the Baton Rouge rapper says in the song, nodding to his past allegations that Iyanna slashed his tires. The single also arrived with a video, showing a woman sneaking around to do the same thing.
While the song doesn’t put his ex-girlfriend in the greatest light, Iyanna shared a video seemingly giving the track her approval. In a since-deleted Instagram post, Iyanna and her mother, Melissia Rene, are shown laughing and singing along to the song.
YoungBoy commented on the clip, writing, “im laughing so hard I love you,” to which Iyanna replied, “Lol love you more baby.”
Based on the online interaction, it seems there’s no love lost between the two. Iyanna also look to her Instagram Story to respond to her critics.
“Y’all daddies done did y’all mamas way worse and they still had y’all raggedy assses so mind ya bidness when it come to me & mine,” she wrote.
Despite being on house arrest and not being allowed to perform, YoungBoy continues to release new music—“Dirty Iyanna” included. The rapper was sentenced 14 months of house arrest back in August, after violating his probation. The judge ruled that while he’s not allowed to perform or go to the studio, he can record music at home. YoungBoy is also permitted to leave the house to go to church, the doctor and the bank.
