Offset has been hit with a $47,000 lawsuit after a Beverly Hills jeweler says the rapper didn’t pay for his jewelry in 2018.
According to TMZ, “Peter Marco of Extraordinary Jewels Beverly Hills is going after the Migos rapper for $47,000, for what he claims are unpaid fees from an October 2018 transaction at his store. The legal docs — obtained by TMZ — include a copy of an invoice allegedly showing Offset bought some bling for $110k, but only paid $63k at the time … leaving the balance of $47k.”
Marco claims that he and his legal team sent Offset a letter in early December demanding a payment within seven days, but the letter may have never been received. Marco is now taking legal action seeking the full payment, plus interest and legal fees. The lawsuit also lists Quality Control Music COO Kevin “Coach K” Lee.
Offset and Coach have not made any statements regarding the lawsuit.
Offset was recently sued for more child support by his baby mother Nicole Marie Algarin for their daughter, Kalea.
The Blast reports that Algarin filed a case against Offset in Fulton County, GA, where she is requesting that the court “legitimize” Kalea’s relationship with the Migos rapper. The documents also show that Offset has already taken a paternity test, which confirmed that the four-year-old child is his daughter.
Algarin is requesting that the judge order Offset to pay a set amount of child support each month. She also wants the payments to be officially sanctioned by the court. Algarin also wants Offset to visit his daughter regularly on weekends, holidays and during the summer.
The Migos rapper was recently gifted $500,000 cash as birthday present by his wife Cardi B. The couple also purchased an Atlanta mansion with five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, four half-baths, and a gun range for $5.79 million.
