Travis Scott has confirmed that he has new heat on the way.
According to Complex, the Houston rapper is set to release his upcoming Jack Boys album. Scott released his single “Highest in the Room” back in October. However, before he dropped the single, he told Zane Lowe that there was more music in the pipeline.
He said at the time, “I’m at the point where I’m just trying to cook up some dope sh-t and drop ‘Highest in the Room,’ and maybe put something around it. I mean, sh-t, I’m in no rush frankly but I’m taking my time to come up with the next album. But I’m always down to drop music and serve some packs to the fans. It’s time for the fans to eat.”
Scott also mentioned Jack Boys in the interview.
The outlet reports that the album will include appearances from Sheck Wes, DJ Chase B, and Don Toliver. While there is no word on when fans can expect Jack Boys to be released, the rapper’s team says the project can be expected to drop before 2020.
La Flame has also launched Jack Boys merch, which consists of hoodies, tees, a water bottle, sweatpants, keyrings, and an electric scooter. Also, each purchase comes with a digital copy of Jack Boys.
In other Travis Scott-related news, the rapper recently held his second annual ASTROWORLD festival in Houston. The show featured performances from Migos, Pharrell Williams, Young Thug, Playboi Carti, Gucci Mane, DaBaby, Megan Thee Stallion, Rosalía, and Marilyn Manson. Young Dolph, Key Glock, Pop Smoke, Tay Keith, and Cactus Jack’s own Sheck Wes, and Don Toliver hit the stage as well.
ASTROWORLD, which took place last month, was Scott’s only North American performance for the second half of 2019 following the knee injury he sustained during Day 1 of Rolling Loud in New York City. TMZ reported that Travis dislocated his knee and would likely need surgery, but there were no additional details.
