On Monday (Nov. 26), Omarion announced the relaunch of the successful Millennium Tour, this time embarking on the trip as a solo artist.
The Millennium Tour, which ran earlier this year, reportedly garnered over $6.7 million and featured B2K, Ying Yang Twins, Lloyd, Pretty Ricky and more. With B2K currently wrapped up in some drama—as Omarion’s ex-girlfriend and mother of his children, Apryl Jones, dates fellow B2K member Lil Fizz—Omarion is taking Bow Wow, Soulja Boy, Sammie and more on tour with him instead.
TMZ recently caught up with co-headliner Bow Wow to ask him about the B2K drama.
“Positive energy outweighs the negative energy… but of course the internet is the internet, and they’re gonna take it and run with it,” he told the outlet. “Me and O, we’re not even involved with that. We just wanna give fans a good show.”
Back in 2007, Bow Wow and Omarion collaborated on their joint album, Face Off.
“Me and O was like a group once we came together and gave the people all the hit records that we have as well,” Bow Wow said.
The “Let Me Hold You” rapper also said fans had wanted to see him on the Millennium Tour’s first round, so he’s glad to hop on this second installment.
“This tour is gonna be different,” he continued. “I would say the energy is gonna be crazy. We added Soulja [Boy], who was definitely a pick of mine. It’s gonna be a lot of high energy.”
Bow Wow may be avoiding the drama, but J-Boog points the blame toward Lil Fizz.
“Fizzle Pop ruined everything,” he said on Instagram Live. “I wouldn’t say he ruined everything, but about 99 percent of it though.”
The B2K member previously denied rumors of a Millennium Tour 2020, or at least one with the whole group. However, when Omarion announced that the tour was happening, Boog sent his best wishes.
“Congrats to my guys on this tour,” he wrote in an Instagram post. “Get to the bag.”
