XXXTentacion’s fourth and final album, Bad Vibes Forever, will be posthumously released next month.
On Thursday (Nov. 21), the late rapper’s team revealed the upcoming album’s release date and shared its title track. X’s camp also released a short trailer for the album, which found Billie Eilish, Lil Skies, PnB Rock, Trippie Redd and more remembering the 20-year-old rapper and his legacy.
“I just see the impact that he had on people and the impact that he had on me, and I barely even knew him,” Eilish says. “He was like a beam of light and just tried to do everything for other people. Like, the most selfless kid I’ve ever met in my life.”
“You could see he was really working hard to be a better person at all times,” Lil Skies added. “You can’t do nothing but applaud that.”
“He really changed and impacted my life, on a bigger scale than anybody could ever know. Forever and always,” Trippie Redd said in the clip.
Back in August, X’s manager, Solomon Sobande, told Billboard that Bad Vibes Forever will be executively produced by X’s mother, describing the album as “the love child between 17 and ?”
”The executive producer is Cleopatra Bernard, Jahseh’s mother, who pieced everything together with the creatives who worked with Jahseh,” he said. “John Cunningham, Jah’s right-hand man, produced the majority of the album. There’s outside production from DJ Carnage and JonFX.”
Bad Vibes Forever is set to feature PnB Rock, Trippie Redd, Stefflon Don, Vybz Kartel, Rick Ross, blink-182, Lil Wayne, Lil Nas X, Joey Bada$$ and more. The record will mark X’s second posthumous release, following 2018’s Skins, and include previously released songs “Hearteater” and “Royalty.”
”There’s a healthy amount [of features],” Sobande continued. “Tory Lanez and Mavado; there’s a country song featuring Lil Nas X. One of the most surprising is blink-182 — one of Jah’s favorite bands.”
Bad Vibes Forever will be X’s last album and is expected to arrive Dec. 7. The rapper was shot and killed last June in Deerfield Beach, FL, while sitting in his vehicle.
