The song comes paired with an album teaser visual.

Today, multi-platinum selling superstar G-Eazy has revealed the release date for his fourth studio album These Things Happen Too. The project is officially arriving on Sept 24, 2021, and paired with the news he has also released “The Announcement.” The freshly released teaser visual sees G-Eazy smoothly making his way into the booth before he lets loose on some bars. “Welcome the the sequel,” a voice says. Then, G takes over and addresses fans directly. “I know it’s been a long, long time. Crazy people to crazy things. It’s finally ready. I’ll see you all on Sept 24.”

The Bay Area’s very own made his return with a brand new single “At Will” last month and he tapped in with rising star EST Gee for the assist. He also continued a 2014 favorite in his single “Running Wild” single featuring an assist from Kossisko and production by DAKARI.

Eazy has been relatively active in 2021, dishing out assists on tracks like “Astronaut In The Ocean (Remix)” with Masked Wolf and DDG, “10 Toes” alongside fellow Bay Area spitters ALLBLACK and E-40. He has also dropped off tracks like “A Little More” featuring Kiana Lede, “Break From LA,” and “Provide” featuring Chris Brown and Mark Morrison. He will be hitting the music festival circuit this Fall, with performances at the Bottlerock, Bonnaroo, Summerfest, and Breakaway Festival among several others along the way.

The new album will also include the much-buzzed-about unreleased song titled “Breakdown” featuring Demi Lovato, which was teased last month in a trailer for the new Netflix series Titletown High. The track has already racked up thousands of pre-saves, as fans eagerly await new music off of G-Eazy’s forthcoming album.
