Adekunle Gold has officially unleashed his latest single “High” and he tapped in none other than superstar Davido for the assist. The new track closely follows his recent “Sinner” release featuring Lucky Daye. For “High,” the two made sure to team up for a music video, which sees them enjoying their time with dancers high up in the clouds as Gold delivers his hook:

Nigeria’s very own Adekunle Gold released his Afro Pop, Vol. 1 last year. Since then, he’s shared some dope assists, like on Nao’s “Antidote,” El Mukuka’s “Lost,” and Shay Lia’s “Irrational (Remix).” In 2020, we also received a slew of singles from him including “Toxic” with Reminisce, “AG Baby” with Nailah Blackman, “Something Different,” and “Jore” featuring Kizz Daniel. Before that was the 2018 project About 30.
Last year, Davido blessed his fans with his third studio LP A Better Time, a 17-song body of work with A-list contributions from the likes of Nicki Minaj, Mayorkun, Chris Brown, Young Thug, Mugeez, Lil Baby, Nas, Hit-Boy, Sho Madjozi, and Bella Shmurda. In addition to being a top five album on Billboard’s World and Heatseeker’s charts, the project also made an entry into the Billboard 200 chart, peaking at 170.
