Mozzy is officially back in album mode. After making the West Coast proud and dropping off his joint project with YG earlier this summer, Mozzy circles back today (Aug 19) to unveil his latest single “Unforgiven.” Directed by Medet and David Camarena, the “Unforgiven” video takes viewers through the dark alleys of Mozzy’s hometown as he delivers his bars about the adversity he has had to face throughout his life:
I might not be forgiven, fuck it I got blood on my hands/ I promise to be a man of the circumstances presented, and if they clip me better kill’ em just make sure them n***as feel it/
How can I complain that I ain’t dead yet? You keep on bringing up these drops while you ain’t left yet/ I’m too gangsta to respond to n***as death threats, the closest n***a to you gon’ get x’ed next
The aforementioned Kommunity Service project was led by singles like “Perfect Timing” featuring Blxst and “Bompton To Oak Park” and includes contributions from names like Tyga, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and more. In terms of visuals from the project, we’ve been able to enjoy clips like “Gangsta,” “Vibe With You” featuring Ty Dolla $ign, “Mad” featuring Young M.A, and “Dangerous” featuring G Herbo.
In terms of other recent collabs, Mozzy can be heard on Kalan.frfr’s recent “No Love” track and linked up with YFN Lucci in the official music video for “Rolled On.” Shortly after, Mozzy returned yet again to deliver a brand new song and visual of his own, “Neva Said It” and Mozzy enlisted Blxst for his introspective single “Keep Hope.” Most recently, Mozzy appeared on Fredo Bang’s freshly released project Murder Made Me.
