Rikki has returned with her latest visual and she tapped in with Moneybagg Yo for the assist. For their collaboration track “Is It Over?,” the two meet up for a night out in the club while delivering their respective lyrics over the EDM-influenced beat. For his assist, Moneybagg effortlessly rides the Chink Santana and Irv Gotti-co-produced beat:
It ain’t over till I say it’s over, go say I’m always gone/ So when I get time try and make that matter/ Whenever she drunk, she blow up my phone, and if I don’t answer that make her madder/ Hate being alone, but when she alone
She using the rolls to get herself together, bust one bust two she ain’t gettin’ wetter/ Fuck her through the FaceTime when I get settled/ Is it over think it’s too early to tell, don’t feel like a priority, feel like she on the shelf
So far in 2021, Rikki locked down another dope collaboration featuring Ja Rule for her official remix of “Heartbreaker.” She also dropped off a loose single “Sorry.” The 24-year-old artist also made sure to share a few words about how the “Is It Over?” collab came to be. “‘Is It Over’ was created during my two week boot camp with Irv,” says Rikki. “We were in the studio everyday making songs for my debut album. During one of the sessions, I heard the beat and was inspired by the EDM twist. I wanted to bring a new vibe to Murder Inc.”
Back in April, the Memphis star Moneybagg released his fourth studio LP A Gangsta’s Pain, which contains 22 tracks with additional assists from Kaash Paige, BIG30, Future, Tripstar, Polo G, Lil Durk, Jhené Aiko, and Pharrell Williams. The project quickly became a commercial success, landing Moneybagg his first number one placement on the Billboard 200 thanks to 110,000 album equivalent units sold during its first week of release. The album also returned to the top of that chart in its third week.
