Lil Tecca is steadily gearing up for his upcoming project, and today (July 23) he drops off another taste of it. The freshly released “Money On Me” is the second promotional single off of Lil Tecca’s 2021 mixtape We Love You Tecca 2. The forthcoming project is the second installment of his well-loved series that was born in 2019 and is set to make landfall next month on Aug 6. On the track, Tecca showcases his serene lifestyle as an artist—making note of his income and leisure.

According to a Genius annotation, the track was first previewed on Feb 13 via Taz Taylor’s Instagram live and later leaked in its entirety on May 30. Most recently, Lil Tecca landed on the official soundtrack for Space Jam: A New Legacy on the track “Gametime” and then on another soundtrack when he concocted “Bussin Bussin” for the F9 movie. He also linked up with Internet Money and Lil Mosey for their “JETSKI.” Back in September, Lil Tecca shared his Virgo World project which boasted 19 cuts and additional appearances from Polo G, Lil Durk, NAV, Skrillex, Internet Money, and more.
