Currently, the world awaits the release of Little Simz’s fourth studio album Sometimes I Might Be Introvert, which will contain 19 tracks with additional features from Cleo Sol and Obongjayar. Following the previously liberated singles “Introvert” and “Woman,” the London emcee keeps the campaign moving with “Rollin Stone,” a Jakwob and Inflo-assisted cut that sees her delivering some of her most aggressive bars to date:
“I was always the illest, there’s never been no cure, callin’ shots like I call in favours, facts, my niggas got me if I ever need that, still, there’s things I’m faced with, Stormz’ ain’t lyin’, man, these fools audacious, might demonstrate frustration, tryna keep cool, but I’m losin’ patience, no cap, we hate snakes and we hate rats, you can have opinions, just don’t mislead the youth in your raps…”
As the world opens up, the live shows also return. In regards to that, Little Simz has also recently announced that she’s heading on a UK tour in November, which kicks off in Birmingham before closing out in London a month later. While not yet confirmed, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the British talent hit a festival stage or two as well.
Check out both “Rollin Stone” and — if you’ve missed it — the official tracklisting for Sometimes I Might Be Introvert. The project officially makes landfall September 3.
