As the world waits for Isaiah Rashad’s forthcoming album, the Top Dawg Entertainment star continues to hold fans over with new music. His latest drop is “200/Warning,” which consists of two songs produced by Almatic, Rory Behr, Amaire Johnson, Nabeyin, and Kenny Beats. While the “200” portion of the song is a hazy, more melodic journey, “Warning” sees Rashad reminding listeners why he’s one of the best rappers out:

“Should I give them hoes a warning, never gave me, just don’t hit me in the morning, my heart got chunks missing, my heart pump venom in the tub, can you dig it? Then, I’ll front, keep rolling, Mr. L, call Uncle Old-School, living outside, if he up, then let ‘em die, keep rolling, numb to it, unless you bring a gun to it, double tap: how dare you try to run through it?”

“200/Warning” follows last month’s “Lay Wit Ya,” a Three 6 Mafia-inspired effort that matched Rashad with fellow Tennesseean Duke Deuce. Prior to that, TDE did bless the masses with a loose single from Rashad titled “Why Worry” last year, which was the first real drop heard from him since his 2016 debut LP The Sun’s Tirade. Besides that, he’s been largely off the musical grid, something that — as REVOLT previously reported — was the result of low funds and addiction, a big revelation from an interview with The FADER:
