Back in April, Morray liberated his major label debut Street Sermons, a 13-track project that boasts well-received singles like “Quicksand,” “Big Decisions,” “Switched Up,” and “Trenches.” This week, the rising star drops off a new visual from the project for “Nothing Now,” a Mike Woods, Pat McManus, and Boston-produced effort that sees Morray reflecting on a past relationship with a former flame who couldn’t remain loyal to him through the ups and downs:

“Tell me I’m wrong if I pack my shit and leave, so tired hearing all the things that you don’t need, when I know the only thing you need is me, it’s just sad ‘cause you too blind to see, so many people they would love to have your spot, don’t wanna hear it you’ve been fucking up a lot, ‘posed to be solid as a mother fucking rock, I’m only sad because it turns out that you not…”

The accompanying clip for “Nothing Now” begins with Morray packing his things and starting a late night journey in an old-school drop top. At some point, he stops at a payphone to deliver his emotionally charged bars to the presumed ex, who now realizes her mistakes during the exchange. Upon receiving his closure, Morray then continues on his new path to success.

In addition to his own music, Morray can now be heard teaming up with fellow Fayetteville star J. Cole on The Off-Season standout “m y . l I f e,” which also features 21 Savage. In addition to his A-list collaboration, this month also saw Morray make an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” where he gave the viewers a rousing live rendition of “Quicksand” and “Can’t Use Me.”
