So far this year, Yung Mal has been keeping busy and shared a slew of singles with his fans including cuts like “Belaire,” “Look At Me Now” and “1.5 Way Or No Way.” He’s now back with his latest cut, and he tapped Pooh Shiesty for the assist. On the new “Walkin’” track, the two feed off of each other’s energy as they deliver the opening hook:

Initially joining the 1017 roster as part of Mal & Quill, the rapper’s solo efforts have now been released directly through Alamo Records. In 2020, he released his 6 Rings project which included features from names like Lil Keed, Lil Gotit, Doe Boy, and more.

Most recently, Pooh Shiesty was in the spotlight for his contribution to Coi Leray’s “Big Purrr” hit, which went viral just off a short snippet of her and him trading bars. They then went on to release the official track and a cinematic music video for it as well. He is also fresh off the drop of his anticipated Shiesty Season mixtape. In 2020, Pooh Shiesty released a slew of singles such as “First Day In LA” and “YANO” with frequent collaborator Foogiano, “Twerksum,” ABCGE” featuring BIG30, and “Monday to Sunday” featuring Lil Baby and BIG30. Back in November, Pooh Shiesty enlisted Lil Durk for their collaboration track “Back in Blood.”
