After dropping off her “Streets” single earlier this year, Shaybo is back again with another single. This time around, she enlisted the help of fellow spitter DreamDoll for their new track “Broke Boyz.” On the song, Shaybo takes care of the opening verse, making her preference crystal clear:
Broke boys always chasing me, homeless-looking n***as say they wan’ change for me/ Church boys say they pray for me, wasting your time if you think that you’re saving me/ ’Cause I want a n***a that’s gang, I want a n***a with tats and bands in his hands/ I want a n***a with ice, I want a n***a who rude, but he talk to me nice, I want a n***a that’s bad/ How much cases you had? Tell me what jail you been? ‘Cause all of them talk like they tough
In terms of things to look forward to from Shaybo, she’s expected to appear on Jorja Smith’s forthcoming Be Right Back project, being the only feature listed on the official tracklist that was revealed earlier this month. She’s shared multiple single in 2020, including “Daily Duppy,” “Dobale,” and “Anger.”
DreamDoll has been extra busy as of lately, recently sharing her remix to CJ’s “Whoopty” and also her “Collection (Freestyle)” just this month. As far as recent collabs go, the Bronx artist connected with Yung Pooda for “Chicken N Grits” and also with Aaria for the “Thug Love (Remix).” Her last full-length project was 2019’s Life In Plastic 2, which included features from Lil Kim, David Lee, cupcaKe, and LouGotCash. Last year saw the release of a few collaborative singles from her like “It’s A Vibe” with Saucy Santana and LightSkinKeisha, “Watchu Like” with Rah Swish, “Ah Ah Ah” with Fivio Foreign, and her own single “On Ya Head.”
