Rich The Kid is busy riding the momentum created from his recent Lucky 7 project. A few days ago he unleashed the sultry visual for “Nasty,” a collaboration with three of hip-hop’s hottest in the game, Mulatto, Rubi Rose and Flo Milli. He’s now back to present his visual for SipTee-assisted “Money Machine” from the same project. On the track, Rich The Kid reflects on his financial glow up:
I was trappin’ out that basement. Mama said, “Stay on that grind, boy, be patient.” I was runnin’ to the money, had to chase it./ I had made a couple racks, I couldn’t waste it. Now I’m laughin’ to the bank, got a big bag. Freaky little bitch, she gon’ ride like Six Flags. How the fuck I ran these millies up but I had skipped math?/ How the hell I got this water on me likе a full bath? Let me call my doctor, I’m so sick. When I pull up in that ’Rari, thеy take a pic./ How the fuck I got a Bentley truck? They said I wasn’t shit. How the fuck I made it rappin’? I done really went legit, damn.
The new Lucky 7 project is just a taste of what’s to come. “This is a playlist of the first seven songs I recorded before my album,” Rich shared, as he sets the tone for another busy year. Lucky 7 features production from longtime collaborators The Lab Cook, DJ Durel, Budda Beats, DJ Spins and more. The new EP follows Rich The Kid’s third studio album BOSS MAN, which was released in 2020 and saw assists from the likes of Lil Baby, Future, DaBaby, Nicki Minaj, Post Malone, Lil Tjay, and Quavo over 20 tracks.
