It’s been exactly 794 days since the release of Summer Walker’s debut album Over It and since then, fans from every angle have been yearning for the Atlanta songstress to deliver some jams — primarily the ladies, for obvious reasons. The “Come Thru” singer’s debut had everyone in a chokehold for two consecutive years and now, a celebration is rightfully due. There will not be any surprises if fans are hosting their own respective listening parties for her new album for the first experience. The R&B realm has certainly been on the up and up, especially from melanated women, over recent times and now it is Summer Walker’s turn to receive the baton for the relay race. Today (Nov. 5), Summer’s sophomore album Still Over It is now available for stream and download.

For the album’s marketing and promotion, Summer Walker and her team executed perfectly in the most unique way. They created something fun where fans from select cities (New York City and Chicago, to be exact) could pull up to certain locations where she had hard drives with the album on them. The gag is that the hard drives were trapped in a glass case and the fans were challenged to break the glass with a small hammer attached to retrieve the album. Of course many people attempted, but to no avail. This only got the world even more hype for what you’re about to indulge in after reading this!

She recently shared the star-studded tracklist which includes features from Cardi B, SZA, Ari Lennox, Lil Durk, Pharrell, Omarion, JT from City Girls, and a closeout narration by Ciara on the outro “Ciara’s Prayer.” Though Dec. 25th isn’t here yet, your early Christmas present is below this sentence.
