If you haven’t heard about Nevaeh Jolie, you probably will soon. Currently, the Florida-to-New Jersey songstress is putting the finishing touches on her forthcoming Def Jam release Game On. This past weekend, she liberated a new single titled “Screwed Up,” which features A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and sees the collaborators singing about young love over Wu-Tang-sampled production courtesy of Max Gousse and Tearce Kizzo:

“I used to scoop her in an Uber, they say I’m too much, I’m probably just makin’ too much, I’m just OD, my diamonds flash when I pull up, they miss the old me, I’m sorry, baby I grew up/

Hermes patent leather and bare hair on my Moncler, I bet you ain’t never seen no G.O.A.T., in the Bronx, here, and I don’t ever wanna see you go, you probably don’t care, I think about you on the low, if you wonder…/”

The accompanying visual mixes a variety of different shots, from A Boogie performing the track on different screens around Manhattan to Jolie hitting synchronized dance moves with her crew. The clip is every bit a New York love story, complete with Jolie seemingly saving her love interest from presumed hood troubles.

In a recent interview with Flaunt Magazine, Nevaeh Jolie spoke on how she locked in with Def Jam Recordings:

“My manager, Max Gousse put me in dope environments. Me coming out here [to LA], 6 months later already working with major producers like London on da Track. He’s playing my music in the offices at Def Jam, showing them me. They’re freaking out: ‘we need to meet her.’ Although I already got other stuff going on, they’re super adamant.”
