Back in January, Quando Rondo unveiled his official debut LP QPac, which saw 18 cuts from the Savannah, GA rapper and additional appearances from Lil Durk, 2 Chainz, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Polo G, and Luh Kel. Today, he follows that with a new release titled Diary Of A Lost Child, which sees 16 new tracks for fans to enjoy. The album was preceded by a visual for the standout track “Depression,” which sees Quando keeping it real about his mental health over production from AdamSlides and JContheBeat:
“I was taught that loyalty is priceless so true love shouldn’t cost a dime, I done been scarred by your love, so deep inside, my heart still cryin’/
No, it don’t matter how far I look, for some reason, I can’t find, I keep abusin’ these drugs to substitute what’s on my mind…/”
Prior to his debut album, Quando Rondo blessed the world with the projects Life B4 Fame, Life After Fame, and From The Neighborhood To The Stage, which were released in 2018 and 2019. The most recent of the three saw 13 tracks and appearances from Shy Glizzy, No Cap, BlocBoy JB, and more. More recently, Quando also liberated a visual for the loose cut “My Life Story,” which continues his penchant for putting his heart — and his struggles — on his sleeve:
“I had a dream about my killer just the night before, hate to face the fact that love don’t live here, they knife to my throat/
I used to call you my lil’ bro, you went and broke the code, guess I’m just a flower in the garden that won’t never grow…/”
