During the entirety of this year’s quarantine, Guapdad 4000 has been giving his fans a better look into his life with “The Valentino Vlog,” a series that comes courtesy of REVOLT. It was during the third episode of said series when Guapdad made it clear on his plans once we all finally get past the Coronavirus pandemic:
“I’d really go back to church. I’d be like wow, I do believe in God… make sure like, he’s still f***in’ with me ‘cause I’m still f***in’ with him!”
The California star has also been dropping off a slew of high-quality tunes, including “Choppa Talk,” “No Home For The Brave,” and the Denzel Curry-assisted “Lil Scammer That Could.” Over the weekend, he added to that via his latest EP Platinum Falcon Returns, which sees six tracks and additional appearances from Buddy, TyFontaine, and Deante Hitchcock. One particular standout, the James Delgado-produced “Deadly Assassination Summer Squad,” shows Guapdad keeping it real about life during the hottest season of the year:
“Even though it’s hot out here, I’m still gon’ be a criminal, come and check my temperature, spent fever in the Gucci store/
Assassination artist, flippin’, make that s*** flawless, every bands in your hands, out the dumpster, don’t understand how business work…/”
In addition to the music and the digital series, Guapdad has also been passing the time with his “Rona Raps,” which sees him trading bars with the likes of Reason, Childish Major, Isaiah Rashad, Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa, and more. Back in April, Guapdad delivered another EP titled Platinum Falcon Tape, Vol. 1, which is considered a predecessor to Platinum Falcon Returns. His official debut LP, Dior Deposits, made landfall last October and saw 13 dope cuts – a deluxe version also boasted an additional collaboration titled “Flossin” alongside west coast legend Snoop Dogg.
