42 Dugg continues to fly high off the release of Young & Turnt, Vol. 2 (Deluxe), an upgrade of the project’s original release that sees nine additional tracks from the rising star. One of the new standouts, “Big 4’s,” sees the Detroit emcee continuing his usual street rhetoric over production from Leechoppn and Helluva Beats:
“Big 4s, your main b***hes all bad, h*** with big homie, show me your n***a so I can s*** on ‘em/
A hunnid pints of red, I tell ‘em, “Yeah bro, we should sit on it, for life, I’m tryna tell you b***h, you’re no life…/”
The track also sees a Tremaine Edwards-directed clip that shows 42 Dugg purchasing a bright yellow Lamborghini SUV. Viewers can also see Dugg performing on stage to a packed crowd and enjoying his time to a bevy of beautiful women in different locations.
Young & Turnt, Vol. 2 made landfall back in March and saw 14 tracks and appearances from Lil Baby and Yo Gotti, both of whom Dugg is currently signed to. The project’s breakout predecessor, Young And Turnt, was released last year and saw other notable collabs from Peewee Longway and fellow Detroit artist Tee Grizzley.
Currently, 42 Dugg is on conditional release following a recent third-degree felony charge for allegedly fleeing from the police in a Detroit suburb months ago. TMZ reported that, according to Oakland County’s chief assistant prosecutor Paul Walton, a rented 2020 Chevy Tahoe was pulled over after running a stop sign, only to pull off as the officer on duty attempted to approach. Dugg has since posted bond and is forced to wear a GPS ankle monitor while awaiting his next court date. It’s hopeful that he’ll be able to rise above his legal issues and move forward with his very bright career.
