Back in 2015, Minneapolis-hailing artist-songwriter-producer Chrishan liberated a project titled TieDie, Pt. 1, which featured the infectious track “Sin City.” On that self-produced cut, Chrishan sang about a girl who was too angelic for Las Vegas, but perfect for him to be sinful with. Now signed to Columbia Records, “Sin City” made a return to the forefront last year, gaining even more attention thanks to its catchy hook and seductive, melodic rhymes — it literally sounds like a late night Vegas vibe that may never end. Now, fans can check out a new visual for a remixed version of the track that features assistance from west coast crooner Ty Dolla $ign.
The video jumps from the dead morning after to the livest night before, where everyone’s living it up at a residence overlooking the Vegas skyline. A beautiful women can be seen acting as the centerpiece to the song’s subject matter, while Chrishan performs in a bedroom and Ty Dolla $ign adds to the experience from the comfort of a classic automobile:
“You a good girl, good girl, good girl/
Too many weak b***hes hating on you girl/
Too many weak n***as playing with you girl/
Stay gassin’, stay gassin’ you up/
You wasn’t even looking for love/
Till I told ya pull up…these n***as always tryna get over/
You gave that man the cold shoulder…/”
When it comes to crafting hit records, Chrishan is definitely not new to this. Last decade, he’s helped to create the perfect sounds for Chris Brown, Kevin Gates, Omarion, Gucci Mane, French Montana, and more — a few of which has earned him well-deserved Grammy nominations as a result.
