PHresher has been keeping busy this year, having already delivered hard-hitting singles like “Bout Time,” “Gawd Damn,” “Nasty Work,” and “Mamba Sauce.” Over the weekend, the Brooklyn star added to the collection with “Point ‘Em Out,” which features assistance from fellow New York City rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and sees the duo flexing over The Dynamics and Kanobby’s upbeat production:
“So fine, just point I shoot-shoot, leave these n***as on mute/
Money gon’ talk like uh-uh, got married to the money, I do/
Got a lil’ baby that’s cute, better die before I do it like you/
Can’t tell my n***a my sins, gotta leave ‘em in the desert like Clue/
No this ain’t the gram’, so stop with the cappin’/
Wanna get blamin’ and that’s not a caption/
See his reaction after I trapped him, RIP to him, his name ain’t a status…/”
The accompanying music video sees the collaborators throwing a game night with friends, creating the type of dope atmosphere that becoming rarer these days due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.
Given all of the new music from PHresher, it’s hopeful that a new album is on the horizon. Previously, he broke out with the runaway hit “Wait A Minute,” which eventually saw a slew of official — and unofficial — remixes with the likes of Remy Ma and 50 Cent. He’s since delivered his 2018 album PH, which featured appearances from Cardi B, Busta Rhymes, Jay Critch, Fatboy SSE and more. He’s even appeared on a track with hip hop megastar Eminem, who utilized PHresher’s unique style on the REVIVAL track “Chloraseptic.”
As we wait for more, you can press play on “Point ‘Em Out” below, which is available on all streaming platforms. In related news, A Boogie’s new album Artist 2.0 was released back in February and can be found here.
