One of R&B’s most loved voices, Musiq Soulchild, has gifted fans with a brand new single titled “Nobody.” On the song, he goes into his verse and hook over a groovy beat about how he wants nobody else for him:
I’ve been really chillin’ lately, ever since I found you baby. Girl you’re like a dream as far as I can see. You’re everything that I need now. You in my life, I get so excited just thinking about how much it gets better with time. I might be a little crazy ‘bout you. I know two people in love, it ain’t nothing. What we do, it just feels that way ‘cause, nobody does, nobody does it for me like you. Nobody does it for me like you. You’re the only one I want, girl.
The single “Nobody” is produced by Ace 1 and Elder and is the first single from the upcoming album The Boos Are Louder From The Cheap Seats. The album is scheduled to be released in early 2021 and not only features artists such as Devin The Dude, Kurupt, Spice 1, Hussein Fatal, Lil Keke, and Big Mike, and also ushers in new talent with Nawfside Outlaw, Pharmacy, Ghost Brazil, MJ38, Worldwide, and Lil Yodaa. This will be Elder Entertainment’s second major release after dropping Spice 1’s Platinum O.G. in July of 2019.
Earlier this month, Musiq Soulchild spread some holiday cheer by linking up with A-Lex for their song “Simplest Christmas.” This year, he also assisted T3 of Slum Village for the “Once Upon a Time” single and Annale for “Half Of It.” Musiq’s last full length project was 2017’s Feel The Real. Equipped with 24 total songs, the project boasted features from names like Marsha Ambrosius, Willie Hyn, BLAQxLD, Chris Theory, The Husel, and even astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson.
