Everybody is getting into the holiday spirit as December progresses, and rappers have been celebrating in the best way they know how. Fivio Foreign shared “Baddie On A Wishlist” earlier this month and Snoop Dogg the OG just recently released his Funky Christmas EP. Big K.R.I.T. just joined this list of rappers spreading holiday cheer, as he surprise-drops his new “Tiz The Season” track for fans to enjoy.
Earlier this year, Big K.R.I.T. shared his project K.R.I.T. Wuz Here back in May. The body of work spanned 18 tracks and saw guest features from names like Smoke DZA, two from Curren$y, Wiz Khalifa, and Big Sant. He also could be heard handing out guest verses this year on songs like Tobe Nwigwe’s “BOZOS,” David Banner’s “Come Home” alongside Ne-Yo, T-Pain, Kandi and Trombone Shorty, and also for “Santos Party House” with his blog era brothers Smoke DZA, Wiz Khalifa, and Curren$y. Most recently, K.R.I.T. released his “KICKOFF” single as summer was coming to a close.
In a previous sit-down with REVOLT, K.R.I.T. spoke about one of the most important things people hold close especially during the holidays, which is family:
They are everything. It’s bigger than me. My family consists of a lot of people. Being able to share a meal with people that genuinely want to see you happy is amazing. I’m able to take all of that back home and be able to help my parents and siblings out. I can show people that you can follow your dreams and make it. It’s a road less traveled and it takes a little more time, but you can do exactly what you want to do. You have to stay diligent and things will work out for you.
