If you haven’t known by now, French Montana has been a force in the industry for quite some time now. For years, his contributions to the game have been on point and many could even argue that he’s very underappreciated and slept on. From his historic mixtape run to his memorable hit making abilities, the New York rapper can’t be denied in any shape, form or fashion. Nearing the end of an eventful year (to say the least), French made some additions to the abundance of projects we’ve been gifted with the release of his Coke Boys 5 album and like the vast majority of his other tapes, CB5 is as solid as solid can be.

After initially announcing the mixtape’s arrival earlier this year in May, it’s fulfilling to finally have the project in the flesh. The Coke Boys series now has yet another concrete addition, further solidifying French’s epic run.
In a sit down with Complex earlier this year, the Coke Boys front-man spoke on the legacy of his close friend Chinx Drugz: “His legacy will always live through me — We got a lot in store for Chinx’s legacy — music is just the beginning, so whenever you see me, you see Chinx. It’s just sad how the streets don’t want you to win, even when you’re a humble dude out here pointing people in the right direction. I got Chinx for life. He will forever be the No. 1 Coke Boy.”
Coke Boys 5 is laced with a riveting 19 records and includes musical contributions from some well-known vibe providers: Jim Jones, Lil Durk, the late Pop Smoke, Jack Harlow, NBA Youngboy, Benny The Butcher, the late Chinx Drugz, A$AP Rocky, Curren$y and more!
