Tonight (November 13), Rich The Kid and YoungBoy Never Broke Again will release their joint album Nobody Safe, which will see 15 tracks and a reported assist from Rod Wave. Before the album makes landfall, fans are able to check out an official video for the lead single “Bankroll,” a Budda Beats-produced effort that sees the duo flexing their wealth:
“Bankroll, whole lotta hundos, in the trap, they deliver like Dominos, nah for real we got paper like Kinkos, you a shrimp, I took your b***h to Pappadeaux/
We gon’ stick to the money like Velcro, ‘member back when I couldn’t get an elbow, now I got these b***hes wetter than a speedboat, they was tryna book a show, but they can’t pay the quote/”
The accompanying visual is directed by Rambino and starts with Rich The Kid working in a pizza parlor, when a beautiful woman walks in to make an order. As that takes place, some masked men invade and force the manager to open the safe an gunpoint. It’s then revealed that both Rich The Kid and the unnamed woman were in on the heist, as they both pull off in a luxury whip with the money — eventually making their way to YoungBoy’s auto repair shop to add to their stash.
From an individual perspective, both artists have been busy this year. Rich The Kid released his third studio album Boss Man back in March, and has appeared on singles alongside Quavo, Takeoff, KYLE!, and AJ Mitchell. Meanwhile, YoungBoy released 38 Baby 2 and Top, both of which landed at the top of the Billboard 200 during their first weeks of release. The Baton Rouge star has also contributed to dope cuts like Migos’ “I Need It,” Future’s “Trillionaire,” and P Yungin’s “I’m On.”
