Fresh off the heels of his “Cha Cha” video release, NLE Choppa swings back around with his new “Narrow Road” visual featuring Lil Baby. The song is a fan favorite off of his Top Shotta project from earlier this year. Over the Quay Global-produced track, Lil Baby comes in with his verse talking about his journey:
“They try to tax us SSI, then we start goin’ and get ‘em. Really showed me what it was, I’ll probably never forgive ya. Start havin’ what you ain’t had and they’ll look at you different. But it don’t matter, I’m in my bag, it’s gettin’ bigger and bigger. Now the Range Rover class Sport and stamps on my passport. Never know we was trippin’, I got everything I asked for.”
NLE Choppa also confirmed he has an upcoming project dropping on Nov. 1 titled From Dark To Light. Equipped with 11 songs, the new body of work will be released to celebrate his birthday. In August, he dropped his full-length project Top Shotta, which saw features from Mulatto, Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch, and Chief Keef. Singles we’ve heard from Choppa include the aforementioned “Narrow Road” featuring Lil Baby, “Walk Em Down” with Roddy Ricch, “Ruff Rydas” from the Road To Fast 9 mixtape, and “Memphis, Pt. 2” by AG Club with A$AP Ferg.
Recently, REVOLT caught up with NLE Choppa in an interview, where he shared some gems about his affirmations:
“Whenever you need that peace or time to yourself, that’s what meditation is for. I started reading books too, it slows your mind down. Writing in a journal, I keep a journal with me and write down stuff I want to achieve. I was too worried about the future and the past. The future causes anxiety and the past causes depression. You have to live in the present moment. Keep in that present moment, attract all the right stuff towards you, think the right way. Once your intuition changes, it’s over with.”
