On the music front, the last time Omarion checked in was back in February with his “Can You Hear Me?” single with T-Pain. Today, he gives listeners another taste of the upcoming project with his new single “Involved.” On the new song, Omarion sings about wanting to finally move on:
“Since we not involved, I’ve been way too involved. Placin’ blame, not at all. Good on everything, that’s all. Wonderin’, “Why does she test me?” There’s a blessing in these lessons. Ever since I been gone, I’m way too involved. Too involved for you, babe. Us involved? No, no way.”
“Involved” is set to appear on Omarion’s upcoming project The Kinection, which will be available on Oct. 30. He revealed the tracklist for the forthcoming body of work, confirming additional features from Ghostface Killah, Wale, Busy Signal, and the aforementioned single with T-pain. In other news, Omarion and his fellow B2K members are up for Top R&B Tour at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards. The initial Millennium Tour grossed over $6.7 million and had the Ying Yang Twins, Lloyd and Pretty Ricky join Omarion, as well as Soulja Boy, Sammie and co-headliner Bow Wow.
In an interview with REVOLT from earlier this year, Omarion spoke about what inspires him to make music today:
“There’s something powerful about real time and being in your truth. Everything motivates me. I really want to always encourage people to move and dance. I always want to bring that joy. That’s my vibration. All my music, even if it’s a heartbreaking experience, it’ll always end on a high note. You have some good takeaways, that’s what motivates me to continue on. As an artist, I’m here to remind people through the design of life, which is traumatic for everyone. My contribution being on the planet is to make sure people stay motivated on their journey.”
