New Music: G.O.O.D Music’s latest signee Valee links with Jeremih on “Womp Womp” Valee

The coveted season of summer releases is now upon us.

After announcing he’s joined the G.O.O.D Music roster earlier this year and shortly following up the news with his debut project GOOD Job, You Found Me, Chicago artist Valee is back with his latest.

The new song, “Womp Womp,” recruits beloved crooner Jeremih, with the two complimenting each other in a rather curious way over a Cássio-produced instrumental. While the track doesn’t quite qualify as a summer anthem, it does hold the potential to be a sleeper hit, scoring points for its minimalistic experimentation.

New Music: “Floetry” by Ro Ransom Ro Ransom

Last year, Harlem rapper Ro Ransom emerged to the forefront of the music industry’s “must watch” lists, with his Momentum EP since garnering over 22 million streams on Spotify, impressively since its October 2017 release.

Since the project dropped, the self-proclaimed Mystery Boy has been keeping busy in the studio, this weekend sharing his latest single, “Floetry.” The track, which features vocalist Kensei Abbot, shouts out Kelis and Lady Gaga, telling a tale of success, lust and, at the end of the day, just being human.

Of the song, Ro says, “I love this record. The bounce is crazy, my voice is irresistible and Kensei is just so much fun. Enjoy yourself a little! Mystery Boy has spoken."

New Music: “Lois Lane” by Porcelan Porcelan

After garnering the attention of many new ears with the release of her debut single “The Real Thing Don’t Change,” which broke the Top 40 on the Urban AC chart this past fall, singer Porcelan returns with new music.

Her sophomore single, “Lois Lane,” is a beautiful offering, exploring the emotional space and vulnerability that new love brings.

Of the track, Porcelan says, “Every woman wants a strong man in their lives that makes her feel secure. The ideal fantasy is to be swept off your feet and protected by a strong man who will rescue you from anything that can bring you harm, and Superman’s love for Lois Lane symbolizes that.”
