Fresh off announcing his new Mad Man tour, which kicked off Wednesday night (Feb. 28) in Philadelphia, the Harlem rapper is celebrating with a new track—and one that features his supporting acts, no less.
The new track, "Kristi YamaGucci,” enlists the talents of Denzel Curry and IDK, who are both currently joining the A$AP Mob member on his spring tour. As exemplified by the track and tour alike, Ferg is confident that these two fast-rising artists have got next.
The track, which is a nod to the 1992 Olympic gold medal-winning figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi, is an unexpected but welcome banger, affording each artist the opportunity to flex over the hard-hitting Frankie P-produced instrumental.
“‘Plain Jane’ the song of the year,” Ferg spits during his verse. “I’m busy just chasing the lettuce/ I’m a Calvin Klein model on billboards/ I did a campaign with the fellas.”
