Today (March 8), Quavo and Rich The Kid teamed up for a hard-hitting single titled "Real One." Over production from Benji Benji, Broadday and DAMN AJ, the two Georgia frontrunners trade bars about their wild lifestyles on wax.
"Wall to wall, baby squeeze in, this s**t loaded/ Turn me up, high as hell, the b**ch going/ Ain't nun' but some p**sy, she promote it/ On the d**k, she taking off like she stole it/ Take some good pictures, can't like it when you post it/ Camouflage, blend in, she a soldier/ Unlock the door, it's 5 a.m. when I come over..."
"Real One" was accompanied by a matching visual that came courtesy of Jesus Gxrcia. Utilizing lo-fi footage, the clip showed the duo running the streets at night and showing off different facets of wealth throughout.
Back in August 2023, Quavo liberated his sophomore studio LP, Rocket Power, an 18-song offering with additional features from Future, Young Thug, Hunxho and Baby Drill. The album also contained two posthumous appearances from his late nephew Takeoff, who was tragically shot and killed back in 2022.
Not long after Rocket Power was released, Quavo joined his mother, Edna Marshall, and Titania Davenport, Takeoff's mother, at the Annual Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C. to address issues with gun violence in America.
“I feel like your calling comes at the least expected times," REVOLT reported him saying to politicians in the nation's capital. "You don’t think nothing is going to happen. I need to step up to the plate and hit a home run. I have to do something about it, so it won’t happen to the masses, especially in our culture. I don’t want this to happen to the next person. I want to knock down these percentages."
