This year, A Boogie wit da Hoodie will unveil his A Boogie vs Artist project. Today (Apr. 1), fans can indulge in a very special new offering from the forthcoming body of work, the freshly released “Playa” single with his longtime girlfriend Ella Bands. “Playa” marks the first collaboration between two love birds, and is also paired with a music video shot in paradise that serves to accentuate the love-struck lyrics:

I know we feel a way, I don’t wanna play no games/ You buy me watches, I’ll buy you chains, treat me right, I’ll do the same/ I hate your playa ways but I like expensive things, show me that I’m my favorite, show me that I’m your favorite/ I put my trust in you (Trust issues) I just hope we don’t end up like Adam and Eve (Adam and Eve), yeah

Just last week, A Boogie wit da Hoodie and B-Lovee came together to assist Snoopy Dinero for his “Adrenaline” video. Shortly afterwards, the two decided to link up once again, this time for A Boogie’s brand new “Hit Different” track, which is another preview of the forthcoming project before “Playa.”

Prior to this, A Boogie shared his B4 AVA project, which is a seven-track body of work with a sole feature from Lil Durk. Prior to that, A Boogie kept active by sharing his take on viral hits like Capella Grey’s “Gyalis” and Mooski’s “Track Star.” Boogie’s third studio album Artist 2.0 was released on Valentine’s Day last year and boasted collaborations alongside Young Thug, Roddy Ricch, Gunna, Summer Walker, DaBaby, Khalid, and more.
