This Friday (Jan. 21), YoungBoy Never Broke Again is expected to release his latest project Colors, which will consist of 15 songs and has previously been led by singles like “Foolish Figure,” “Emo Love,” “Emo Rockstar,” “Fish Scale,” and “Bring The Hook,” the last of which has drawn some ire from a certain Midwest city and its noted inhabitants. Yesterday, the Baton Rouge star liberated another track titled “Know Like I Know,” a BBoyBeatz, KP On The Beat, and BJ Beatz-produced offering that sees him sending off direct threats to his enemies:
“I bet your momma be destroyed, nigga, when we send your stupid ass to God, for makin’ statements, choosing’ sides, about my beef with them lil’ boys, I could say I saw it, you could say I was your favorite, nigga, better stay up in your place, bitch, fuck around and get your face split any day, nigga, they know I’m a demon, you ain’t met the devil until you seen me, yеah, I get ’em hit, we gon’ kill a bitch insidе of Neiman’s for any reason, I don’t give a fuck ’bout how you treat your body, give a fuck about your cleaning…”
Colors will follow last fall’s Sincerely, Kentrell, which was released while YoungBoy was still incarcerated due to federal gun charges. Containing 21 songs (or 23 if you include the Deluxe edition) and zero features, YoungBoy‘s third studio album became his fourth number one on the Billboard 200 thanks to 137,000 first-week album equivalent units sold, following the success of AI YoungBoy 2, 38 Baby 2, and Top. Given YoungBoy‘s prolific output and its consistent results, expect Colors to do just as well as its predecessors from both a critical and commercial standpoint.
