Next month on Feb. 3, Saba is set to release his brand new project Few Good Things. He has been steadily prepping fans for what’s to come by dropping off meaningful previews, and the latest one has officially arrived today (Jan. 14) with “Come My Way” featuring Krayzie Bone of the trailblazing GRAMMY Award-winning hip-hop group Bone Thugs-N-Harmon. The new track follows recent cuts like funk-laden lead single “Fearmonger” featuring Daoud and “Stop That.” On the new track, Saba expresses his “ode to nostalgia and growing up”:
Daydreaming thinkin’ how to get some money and then we good, and then we good, and then we’ll be good/ All I’m doin’ thinkin’ how to get some money and then we good, and then we good, and then we’ll bе good (Uh, yeah)/ This sound like tube socks on Madison Avе, students actin’ bad up in the class
Saba also took some time to share a few reflections about the collaboration. “When I think back on first discovering Bone Thugs-N-Harmony as a child, it immediately stood out to me as unique,” Saba shares of the legendary hip-hop group. “I started paying attention and really learning how to rap from listening to them and trying to recite it. It felt honest and completely true to themselves — authentic in a way that doesn’t come around very often and in a way that will be impossible to recreate. It inspired me to be more creative.“
Back in 2018, Saba shared his magnum opus album Care For Me. That project included 10 tracks and appearances from theMIND and Kaina. In the meantime, he dropped off his two-pack for his tracks “Ziplock” and “Rich Don’t Stop.” He also joined Smino on the Judas and the Black Messiah soundtrack for their song “Plead The .45th.”
Be sure to press play on Saba’s brand new single “Come My Way” featuring Krayzie Bone.
