Last month, EarthGang made their return and released a brand new track “American Horror Story.” The somber yet powerful track was the first taste from the pair’s upcoming sophomore album Ghetto Gods, which is set to arrive on Jan. 28. On the song, the Atlanta duo used their voices to speak on their perspective of the realities about living in this country.
Today (Jan. 14), EarthGang is back to deliver yet another meaningful cut “All Eyes On Me.” On the track, the duo celebrates being able to live on:
Warriors die but they live in the sky, I never seen a Gucci watch in my future, sign of the times and God whispered in my dreams, shawty open your eyes/ I got so much more in store for you, they can’t touch what’s mine, pack my whole life’s precious moments in a line and shawty singing my songs, she think she know what’s on my mind/
The two talented Dreamville residents also made sure to take some time to thank their longtime fans while also welcoming the new ones. “Shoutout to our Day 1 fans,” they wrote on Instagram. “We got THE BEST ALBUM BOUT TO DROP IN A LONG TIME. So when the new fans come, welcome them in, help them get acquainted to the catalog and we gone turn up some mo’. Jan. 28.”
Prior to this EarthGang delivered a hit by linking up with Wale and Coi Leray for “Options (Remix).” Shortly before that was their take on the highly circulated “Lemon Pepper Freestyle.” Also in recent months, Johnny Venus assisted Sinéad Harnett in her new “Take Me Away” video that dropped last year. Other dope features include their appearances on Angelique Kidjo’s “Take It Or Leave It” and Tommy Newport’s “Stargazer.”
