Just last week, Calboy delivered a dope freestyle over Kodak Black’s “Super Gremlin.” Yesterday (Jan. 11), the Chicago star decided to keep the momentum going with another freestyle over Money Man’s summer hit “LLC,” which sees production from Nils and Trauma Tone. As expected, Calboy matches the original subject matter effortlessly with messages to his crew and his enemies throughout:
“Better mind your business nigga, we leave niggas in the streets, heard yo bro want smoke, I told big bro and now yo bro deceased, this bitch think I’m famous, but I started out here locally, choppa with me, dangerous, this bitch singing just like Jodeci, yeah, diamonds on me dangling, so she notice me, I still see them demons in my head, so I can’t go to sleep, boy I keep a pole, you betta watch how you approaching me, I was born a shooter but til’ brody ‘nem gone blow for me…”
The accompanying clip for “LLC Freestyle” keeps things pretty simple with shots of Calboy and his crew in different locations. The XXL Freshman alum can be seeing rapping his lyrics behind a building, in the backseat of a high-end whip, and more.
Currently, Calboy is said to be working on his forthcoming album Redemption, and has blessed his fans with presumed singles like “Miseducation” with Lil Wayne, “Ten Toes Down,” “Round Here,” “Jungle Juice,” “She Knows,” and “If Heaven Had A Phone.” Upon its eventual release, it would follow the well-received Long Live The Kings, which — including its Deluxe edition — came with 12 songs and collaborations alongside Lil Tjay, Lil Baby, G Herbo, Polo G, Fivio Foreign, Yo Gotti, and the late King Von.
