Kanye West and actress Julia Fox confirmed they are dating in a new Interview Magazine piece. Fox, who is known for her role in Uncut Gems, wrote the first-person article about meeting West and their first two dates.

“I met Ye in Miami on New Year’s Eve and it was an instant connection,” she wrote for the piece, which was accompanied by photos of the new couple. “His energy is so fun to be around. He had me and my friends laughing, dancing and smiling all night.”

“We decided to keep the energy going and fly back to New York City to see Slave Play,” she continued.

Fox said after the Broadway play, she and West had dinner at Carbone, where the Donda rapper snapped “an entire photo shoot” of her.

“The whole restaurant loved it and cheered us on while it was happening,” she wrote.

Fox said Ye had a “surprise” planned for he after the date, which entailed “an entire hotel suite full of clothes.”

“It was every girl’s dream come true,” she wrote. “It felt like a real Cinderella moment. I don’t know how he did it, or how he got all of it there in time. But I was so surprised. Like, who does things like this on a second date? Or any date!”

Rumors of West and Fox’s budding romance began earlier this week after they were photographed out on their date.

“Everything with us has been so organic. I don’t know where things are headed, but if this is any indication of the future I’m loving the ride,” she wrote.

Last month, the 44-year-old rap star dedicated his “Runaway” performance to his estranged wife Kim Kardashian during the Free Larry Hoover concert. He also recently purchased a $4.5 million home across the street from Kardashian’s Hidden Hills estate.
