YoungBoy Never Broke Again continues to deliver some fun visuals for his fans to enjoy. His latest is for a new drop titled “Fish Scale,” which comes with production from Otxhello and Ambezza and sees the Baton Rouge star keeping it very street-oriented on wax:
“Let’s go, who the fuck said that they want it with me? I’m in Atlanta, a hundred and some sticks on a nigga, they know not to run up on me, spotted him, I sent a pic to that nigga to show him that I’m only lettin’ them bleed, shot at him, I swung that stick at that nigga, the bullets they stronger then hercules…”
As with more recent clips for “Black Ball” and “Emo Rockstar,” “Fish Scale” sees YoungBoy and go-to shooter FlyGuyNick getting creative in different areas of the rapper’s residence as he continues to deal with his lockdown and related legal issues. Viewers can see YoungBoy showing off stacks of money, performing inside and around one of his vehicles, and appearing isolated in a room covered by a green hue. What might be the most important takeaway from the video is what’s seen in its description, which looks to be a confirmation of a new body of work arriving this month:
“YoungBoy Never Broke Again – new tape less than 2 weeks…”
Back in September (and during his highly publicized incarceration), YoungBoy liberated his third studio album Sincerely, Kentrell, which originally came with 21 tracks and zero features from other artists. Shortly after its release, a couple of additional songs were added to the overall tracklist. All-in-all, Sincerely, Kentrell earned YoungBoy his fourth number one on the Billboard 200 thanks to 137,000 first week album equivalent units sold.
Press play on YoungBoy Never Broke Again‘s “Fish Scale” visual, and look out for his new mixtape to make landfall soon.
