ASAP Twelvyy has made his return with a brand EP this week titled Vanilla Sky. The freshly released three-pack includes tracks “JUS LEF VEGAS (featuring Zeke),” “FYBRSPACE SUMMIT (GuggenheimGoon),” and of course the title track “VANILLA SKY.” He also made sure to highlight his assists, shouting out DJ Skidrow and ZEKE for their production and GuggenheimGoon for their work on the artwork. Right from the opening bars, ASAP Twelvyy slides over the beat:
Eeny, miny, moe at the helipad (Like, what?), feelin’ like Steph when I’m steppin’ back (Like, what?)/ Set us all up, should’ve kept at that (Like, what?), twenty-five in the clip when we steppin’ up (Like, what?) or it’s fifty in the clip when we reppin’ that (Ok)/ Put a hundred on the knicks, we can bet it back (Ok)
Match the slidеs with the fit, got the red and black (Ok) Whеn I just left a trip and I’m headed back (What?) Two-steppin’, diddy boppin’ on the strip with it (Ok)/ D-40 with the lingo and I’m sick with it
Prior to this, he dropped off tracks like “Last Train 2 Paris,” “Easy Money” with the Kii, and “Wolverine In Harlem” earlier this year. Twelvyy also previously stopped by REVOLT for an installment of Studio Sessions, where he revealed some of his fondest memories with his crew. “We’re the prototypes,” he confidently says. “There wasn’t really anything popping off before us besides Wiz Khalifa, Drake, and Kid Cudi. I remember Yams used to be like, ‘Y’all niggas is not hot. I don’t know why y’all acting like y’all hot.’ Imagine you think you’re really lit and your brother telling you that you’re not really that hot. It used to be really funny because we’d be like, ‘Yo, bruh, why you shitting on us? (laughs).’ It was a brotherly love.”
