Back in March, BlueBucksClan unleashed their Clan Virus 2 mixtape, which boasts a solid roster of features from names like Bino Rideaux, Lil Yachty, and Cash Kidd. They amped up the hype for the release by pairing it with the official video for the Hit Boy and Quavo-assisted cut “Lil League.” The duo officially returned shortly after with their “Come Again” single, and the accompanying visual dropped last month.
As a final offering before the ball drops, DJ and Jeeezy came back this time in the form of a video for a song from last year. BlueBucksClan reached back into the vault to share a visual for “5:57 AM (Freestyle),” which is the outro from their Clan Way 2 project from 2020. They now have swiftly followed up with yet another visual from that project for “When You See Us,” which sees them sticking to their smooth flow”
She tryna ride on me slow like a speed bump, she gon fuck and I ain’t her up in three months/ Knock her down get back in the field Kareem Hunt/ Puttin’ three grams in my wood we don’t need blunts, puttin’ stickers on these bags n***a think it’s pink runtz/
Clan Virus 2 is BlueBucksClan’s seventh project in two years and after a surging 2020. Recent singles from them include the Lil Yachty-assisted “Last Minute” and the courtside themed “Horace Grant” reaffirming their chemistry. In 2020, the duo released No Rules 2, Going Up, Clan Way, and the first Clan Virus. The rising act has been able to garner over 50 million U.S. streams in total, in addition to cosigns from DJ Mustard, Saweetie, and Shoreline Mafia, and athletes from Kevin Durant, and Russell Westbrook so far. Judging by their work ethic and unique identity, it looks like L.A. officially has force to watch out for.
