Back in October, Conway The Machine treated his core fans to a vinyl-only release titled The Missing Bricks, which contained six tracks and additional features from Bun B, Trae Tha Truth, Elijah Hooks, Jannique Heard, and 2 Chainz — the last of whom made his appearance on the Trizzy Williams-assisted standout “TRU Bethel.” Late last month, that collaboration officially landed on YouTube, giving those without record players the ability to enjoy the Buffalo-to-Atlanta banger in its entirety:
“I know the lord is protectin’ me, but I still keep me a chopper, fifty up in the extendo, no weapon that’s for niggas, me that’s gon’ prosper, told you the game, I’ma lock up, bust the whole Cuban link, even the lock up, free all the real niggas locked up, told the jeweler forty pointer the watch up, now the bitches gotta watch us, now the bitches see I leveled up, you ain’t on my level, I’ma level up…”
In addition to The Missing Bricks, 2021 also saw Conway The Machine blessing the masses with more mainstream releases like La Maquina and If It Bleeds It Can Be Killed, the latter of which was a collaborative effort alongside online personality-turned-producer Big Ghost. The New York star has also delivered his brand of bars on songs like Uncle Murda’s “Nothing Like Me,” N.O.R.E.’s “Outta Line,” DJ Megan Ryte’s “You Gotta Love Me,” DMX’s “Hood Blues,” DJ Kay Slay’s “Rolling 110 Deep,” Flee Lord and Roc Marciano’s “Medusa,” Kanye West’s “Keep My Spirit Alive,” AZ’s “Ritual,” and The Harder They Fall cut “King Kong Riddim” with Jadakiss, JAY-Z, and BackRoad Gee. Currently, Conway is said to be putting the finishing touches on the long-awaited GOD DON’T MAKE MISTAKES, which is expected to arrive pretty soon.
