New year, new Soulja Boy. The rapper, who has never shied away from a public beef, is turning things around in 2022. During a recent Instagram Live session, he announced that he’s letting go of past feuds so he could focus on his upcoming venture.
“2022, my new TV show coming out January 21 [with] REVOLT TV, shout-out to P. Diddy. ‘Being Draco,’ new TV show January 21, 2022, we going into the year with all positive energy, you know what I’m saying?” he said. “I ain’t got no beef with nobody. I ain’t got no smoke, no problems, no nothin’. All I’m doing is TV show and movies, I’m a[n] actor now.”
Soulja Boy has had his share of beef throughout the course of his long career. In the past, he’s gotten into it with the likes of Ice-T, Chris Brown and the late young Dolph. He and Bow Wow ended their back-and-forth with a Verzuz over the summer. Most recently, he announced that Kanye West apologized to him for removing his verse off of Donda. According to Instagram Live, Big Draco is also letting bygones be bygones with other artists he’s previously feuded with.
Details about Soulja’s upcoming show have not been disclosed, but the “Crank Dat” star appears to be very excited about his new move.
“Big shout-out to P. Diddy, big shout-out to REVOLT. I got a new TV show coming out on REVOLT TV,” he teased back in October. “Shout-out to Puff Daddy, y’all know what the fuck going on. My new TV show is coming soon and it’s going viral, no cap.”
He is also continuing on with his music and is preparing the release of a new song. “Heartbreak Soulja” will reportedly drop on Valentine’s Day. The cover art for the single can be found below.
