Just prior to the arrival of the new year, Curren$y liberated the well-received fourth installment of his Pilot Talk series, which came with 10 Ski Beats-backed songs and a single assist from Jay Electronica on “AD6.” Today (Jan. 3), the New Orleans legend drops off another dope visual from Pilot Talk 4 for “Under The Wings,” which comes with additional production from Diamond and is full of the usual “bigger than life” subject matter we’ve come to expect from the Jet Life captain:

“Can’t blame me bro it’s all in the game, 24 hours in a day we all have the same, you chose to sit on your ass I chose to do my thing, now when the Rolls roll by your bitch under my wings…”

The accompanying clip for “Under The Wings” comes courtesy of Kewe Ukpolo and Polo Vision Media and shows Curren$y with a close compadre enjoying a game of pool. As with previous clips, viewers can also enjoy other shots of Curren$y’s vehicles, backyard pool, and other residential perks.

Last year, Curren$y delivered a volume of quality music that many of his peers haven’t been able to complete their entire careers — this includes February’s The Collection Agency, June’s Welcome to Jet Life Recordings 2 with his Jet Life collective, August’s Highest in Charge with Trauma Tone, September’s Matching Rolexes with Kino Beats, and — just last month — Still Stoned On Ocean, the sequel to 2016’s Stoned On Ocean, and Regatta, an 8-track joint effort with Harry Fraud that sees eight songs and collaborations alongside 2 Chainz, Larry June, Styles P, and Jay Worthy. It would be remiss not to also include Spitta’s NFT project Financial District in celebration of 4/20.
