Back in April, Kid Ink dropped off his latest body of work ALIVE, which came with 13 cuts and additional features from Rory Fresco, Bricc Baby, and ISM. Next month, the Cali star will unveil a Deluxe edition of ALIVE, which will see 21 tracks overall for his fans to enjoy.
Following the release of “Hoe Games,” Kid Ink continues to prepare his fans with “Go Mode,” another collaboration alongside ISM that sees the artists delivering party vibes that’s perfect for your socially distanced new year:
“Bad bitch, she on go mode, throw it back and let me shoot it off GoPro, yea, yea, she on go mode … spin the block until we get it in slow mode … okay, neck full of Fiji, it’s fleeky, I’m fuckin’ up the money like it’s freaky, it’s easy, can’t move cheap, then you back outside, no tiki, we smokin’ out the teepee…”
Earlier this year, Kid Ink spoke to L.A.’s Power 106 about his career thus far and whether or not he’ll continue the independent route:
“I couldn’t say I wouldn’t sign another deal. In general, I’d definitely wanna see how this run goes, I don’t … have certain expectations for myself, but I definitely want to see how it goes, see how I move forward from there … I am in a good space with my independent situation, I feel like, especially after this project, that I’ll be able to figure out what I wanna do … I don’t know. If it makes sense, ’cause I understand … if the project–it’s not the only project I plan on puttin’ out, by the way–but if this project gets the response I want it to get … of course, that’s how I first went in…”
Press play on Kid Ink and ISM’s “Go Mode.” ALIVE (Deluxe) officially makes landfall January 14.
