Back in April, Kid Ink shared his most recent project ALIVE. The 13-track album included features from Bricc Baby, Rory Fresco, and ISM. He just announced that he will be circling back to share the deluxe version of the project on Jan. 14 of next year, and he will be adding on eight new songs to the revamped version. As the first taste from the forthcoming deluxe project, Kid Ink has shared “Hoe Games.” On the track, he rides the ISM-produced beat with ease, and even shouts out LeBron James:
My brain is different, helium (Yeah), problems, money probably made me more (Yeah)/ I just bought a table, why you standin’ at the bar since way before, back when we used to borrow clothes/ I had to get my brothers out the gutter just like Mario (Hey) break and pack the buddy (Wait)
Call me the batgang bully, only here like hoodies (Hoo)/ They don’t understand me fully (Uh), all money gettin’ like Pac-Man/ Lil’ bitch four rings, come with the backhand, lil’ bitch four rings, I’m like King James, Pop champagne with my teammates
Prior to this, Kid Ink linked up with RMR for their “Party” single. “Party” came a mere months after the aforementioned ALIVE. That project also marked the first official independent drop the Cali star, immediately following the 2018 EP Missed Calls and acting as the official successor to 2015’s Full Speed. The last couple of years have also seen an album’s worth of loose cuts, including “Holy Grail,” “Look At That,” “Just Chill,” “Live Forever,” and “Kiss The Sky” with Hit Wxnder. He also recently posted a snapshot of his Spotify Wrapped, proudly showing off his 202M streams that represented his successful year.
