Last month, Eman Get Dough unveiled an AutoTune-heavy cut titled “Unexpected,” which sees him crooning about the ups and down that exist within the fast life, his musical output, and more:
“Drippin’ in designer, rockin’ Chrome right now, gotta keep a chrome heart where I’m from, sippin’ on some Wocky and it’s cold right now, gotta keep a chrome heart where I’m from, relate with the real and not the fake ones, it was unexpected, it was worth the wait, huh, a lot emotion, had to sit back, run the play, huh, I done dropped “Unexpected,” and y’all was waitin’ on it, I put my ice on the floor and I started skatin’ on it, I got some people who love me, and people hatin’ on it…”
Now, fans can check out the official video for “Unexpected,” which sees direction from Benny Flash and shows the North Miami talent delivering his lines while next to a classic BMW and a beautiful woman. Add in some driving footage (both in real life and computer generated) and you have a smooth visual that’s filled with some laid-back vibes.
Eman spoke on his latest drop via press release:
“My new record is centered around guarding my heart or as I say keeping a chrome heart, because of the environment that I grew up in. There’s a lot of fake love going around these days, so to avoid getting hurt you can’t be too quick to let people close to you.”
Three years ago, Eman liberated the 12-track body of work Under The Influence, which saw additional collaborations alongside Hoodrich Pablo Juan and Spazz Alpachino. Since then, he’s continued to deliver top tier singles like “Flexed Up” with F$o Dinero, “Addicted,” “Beetle Juice,” and “You The One.”
Press play on “Unexpected” below and keep an eye out for Eman Get Dough’s forthcoming EP of the same name.
